Dr. Hynes offers a complimentary consultation during the first visit. "I want patients to be fully informed when choosing their cosmetic surgery options, and it is important they trust and have confidence in me as their surgeon," explains Dr. Hynes. We encourage a close family member or significant other to accompany the patient to the initial consultation. You may also wish to bring along a personal calendar if you have specific dates you would like to schedule your surgery.  

Our staff will be happy to schedule an appointment at a convenient time for you. Our staff is also able to answer any general questions you might have before your consultation.

Our Patient Coordinator will help you with any questions you have regarding your upcoming appointment with Dr. Hynes andyour upcoming surgery or post-operative concerns. The Patient Coordinator can also show you our excellent skin care products and in-office skin care procedures. We are driven to make your visit pleasant. What to expect at your Complimentary Consultation:

Our Patient Coordinator first welcomes you into the examination room and assists Dr. Hynes in helping you become relaxed and fully informed. She will give you printed information about Dr. Hynes including his specialized training, his Board Certification and his years of experience. She will also give you the patient printed information about all of the services available in the office, including Laser procedures, new Wrinkle Injectables, and medical skin care treatments and products.

The Patient Coordinator will ask you what cosmetic surgery procedures you are considering and give you professional brochures about each procedure. She will also give you photo albums of before and after pictures of a few of Dr. Hynes’ former patients. Our goal is to inform you fully.

During your private consultation with Dr. Hynes, he will first meet with you to discuss the procedures you are considering so he can learn your goals and expectations. He will discuss with you the various options available to meet your desired expectations. Following his examination, he will tell you what procedure(s) he feels will be most appropriate to meet your expectations. He will also inform you about the surgery including the surgery length, time off from work expectations, and what to expect during recovery time. He will also perform a physical and review your medical history.

The success and safety of your cosmetic surgery significantly depends on your complete candidness during the consultation. You will be asked a number of questions about your health, desires and lifestyle.

The patient coordinator will meet with you again to give a firm written proposal that includes the total fees for the surgery, including Dr. Hynes fee, the anesthesia fee, and the hospital outpatient fee. All of Dr. Hynes’ cosmetic surgeries are performed in the safety of a hospital in the outpatient surgery department. You will return home the very same day. The patient coordinator will ask you to supply possible surgery dates that are convenient for you. If you are interested, she can also tell you about payment options and financing plans that are available. If you are considering combining more than one cosmetic surgery, she will tell you what the reduced costs will be for the combined surgeries. If you wish, Dr. Hynes will be happy to meet with you for a second consultation prior to scheduling your surgery to make certain that all of your questions have been answered. He is also willing to respond to any concerns a family member or spouse might have. Once you schedule your surgery, Dr. Hynes will schedule a pre-operation appointment with you approximately one to five days before your surgery date.
